8 DAYS IN MOROCCO

With this round trip, Danzamundo invites you to fill all your senses with the rich variety of flavours and impressions Morocco has to offer. A 10-hour belly dance course is divided over an 8-day holiday in which we will be travelling from the gorgeous city of Marrakech, through the land of thousand ksars and kasbahs. In short, a perfect holiday to belly dance away and experience an unforgettable taste of the east.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Friday:

  • Arrival in Marrakech and hotel check-in. Meet our tour host in the afternoon for an introduction to our programme.
  • Afterwards, we'll enjoy a short stroll through the Medina and the souks.
  • Dinner in one of the street stalls on the incredible Djemaa El Fna square is highly recommended.

Day 2 - Saturday:

  • Free time to explore the wonderful Medina.
  • In the afternoon, we enjoy our first two-hour belly dance class.
  • After dinner, we attend a colourful belly dance performance at a traditional club.

Day 3 - Sunday:

  • Morning belly dance class.
  • Transfer to Ouarzazate (5h) which represents the gateway city to the south of Morocco and is famous for its film studios. Check-in at the stylish Hotel Hanane.

Day 4 - Monday:

  • After breakfast, we head for the beautiful ksar of Ait Benhaddou.
  • After our visit, we enjoy an exclusive belly dance class in one of the ksar's adobe homes.
  • In the evening, we may have dinner at one of Ouarzazate's many restaurants.

Day 5 - Tuesday:

  • In the morning, we enjoy another two-hour belly dance lesson.
  • Afternoon transfer to the Gorges du Dades. Arrival and hotel check-in.

Day 6 - Wednesday:

  • After breakfast, we set out for an undemanding hiking excursion (aprox. 2-3hrs walk) into the most stunning part of the Dades valley.
  • In the afternoon, we will have another belly dance lesson on the roof top terrace of our hotel, overlooking the gorge.

Day 7 - Thursday:

  • Transfer to Marrakech, crossing the Atlas mountains as well as the famous Tizi 'n Tichka pass.
  • To celebrate our last evening together, we attend a modern belly dance show in the uptown Guéliz.

Day 8 - Friday:

Return home
