FLAMENCO WEEKEND IN BARCELONA
Barcelona and Flamenco have a long history together. Ever since the massive immigration from Andalusians in the twenties, Barcelona has nurtured its own flamenco tradition. 'Gitana' dance legend, Carmen Amaya was born and raised in the Catalan capital and Rumba Catalana is one of many flamenco styles. With its rich history as well as its variety of both local and foreign cultures, Barcelona makes an excellent backdrop for this two-day flamenco course.
